When & Why to Use This Skill

The Instruction Clarity skill is a professional-grade tool designed to transform vague, ambiguous directives into precise, actionable, and measurable instructions. By applying the 5C Principle (Clear, Concise, Complete, Concrete, Correct) and Minto’s Pyramid Principle, it eliminates 'fuzzy' language and restructures content for maximum comprehension. This skill is essential for anyone looking to improve prompt engineering results, create high-quality documentation, or ensure that project requirements are executed without misunderstanding.

Use Cases

  • Prompt Engineering: Refine vague AI prompts into structured instructions with clear success criteria to improve output consistency and quality.
  • SOP & Runbook Creation: Convert loose verbal instructions or rough notes into professional Standard Operating Procedures that are easy for teams to follow.
  • Requirement Analysis: Transform ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical specifications with measurable milestones and validation steps.
  • Communication Optimization: Audit and rewrite internal directives to replace vague terms like 'appropriately' or 'properly' with specific, quantifiable actions.
  • Technical Documentation: Use the Pyramid Principle to restructure complex technical guides, ensuring the most critical information is delivered first for better readability.

Phase 1:

Objective: 5C

Actions:

  1. Run: node scripts/analyze-instruction.mjs --input <file>
  2. Invoke Task: agents/diagnose-instruction-quality.md
  3. Reference: references/basics.md

Outputs:

Phase 2:

Objective: 5C

Actions:

  1. Invoke Task: agents/restructure-instruction.md
  2. Use template: assets/instruction-template.md
  3. Reference: references/patterns.md

Outputs:

Phase 3: 検証

Objective:

Actions:

  1. Invoke Task: agents/validate-instruction-clarity.md
  2. Use checklist: assets/instruction-checklist.md
  3. Run: node scripts/log_usage.mjs --result success --phase complete

Outputs:

Task

Task File When to Use Inputs Outputs
agents/diagnose-instruction-quality.md Phase 1 元の指示文 診断レポート
agents/restructure-instruction.md Phase 2 診断レポート 再構成指示
agents/validate-instruction-clarity.md Phase 3 再構成指示 検証済み指示
